Savanette had many homes destroyed during the earthquake on August 14, 2021. The devastation in our area and in Les Cayes, the biggest city nearby, is heartbreaking. We are pleased that the little homes that donors built after Hurricane Matthew in 2016 are still standing . We are now in a rebuilding process AGAIN and will appreciate all the help we can get .
